Hearing about this restaurant from a few friends, because of their “meat pies” i definitely had this place on my list to eat at. I’ve actually been a few times because that’s how much I enjoy the food there, the staff is helpful and always on hand, and the owner is super chilled and informative of what’s on their menu. I ordered the lamb pie and my girlfriend already the Potjie
The pie is super delicious and made fresh, the gravy goes well with lamb, and some chips on the side never hurts any meal in my opinion, the potjie was filled with super succulent meat, a side of slaw and some white kinda mashy substance, wasn’t to sure what it was, didn’t eat it lol was too full from everything else on offer. Nothing but good things to say about this place, they also have sausages and mash, lamb chops and a bunch of other stuff on the menu. Be sure to check it out i definitely recommend it. Get in early or make a reservation.
Braai Republic is located in Itaewon at 63-4 itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. To get there take a train to Itaewon station and walk straight out of exit 4 for about 500 meters. Take a left just before you get to Mcdonalds. Keep walking straight down that street past the intersection. Braai Republic is on the left, on the second floor.
